Description: An older woman who tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look, she is not a threatening figure. Her head has been shaved. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.
Personality: She is a Guard first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Guard arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. After months of barely getting by, Helgret managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. Her silver hair is cut short. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.
Personality: She is happy with her job as a Carpenter. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.
History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: Expand her business.

Description: He has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his brown robe. His purple hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. He has a dull look in his gold eyes.
Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.
History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Akmen was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Adventurer. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.
Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is renowned for his bright brown suits and hats. He has black hair. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.
Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Barendd isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: He was born into a rich family. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Barendd grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Barendd. After months of barely getting by, Barendd managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
