History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Tod grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Nelkin will drive conversation. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a beggar and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help
