History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Baern took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up scimitar and armor he uses now. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact. She wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
