History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the north. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Manea hails from a village terrorized by giants. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Weaver. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and sabotage a competitor
