His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is long and silver with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small black clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is a Carter first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Carter arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His childhood dream was to be a Tailor, but he was a colossal failure. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her rusty crest is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. She has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Perra was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Perra's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.
