Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Calcitro was born with his mother's beautiful face. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Calcitro's homeland. Calcitro decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Vanuath was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Painter. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with grey lining and desert motifs. His black hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Bertram was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Bertram decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: This slender woman stands about 3'5". She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time. Her red hair is greasy and uncared for. She wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
