Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is a great chef.

History: Shane hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Description: A man with a warm, jovial air about him, he dresses in white turtlenecks beneath a violet coat with brown slacks. His hair is red and curly. His eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
