After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

History: Gifted from a young age, Oriel studied abroad. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: This late middle aged man typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep pastel leather and dull grey iron scale mail and is in decent physical shape. His yellow fur is thinning but still full. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are copper.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When River reached his early adolescence his Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has worked as a Banker like his father before him.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he seems to be bored by most things
