History: Avelina was born with her father's beautiful face. In her 12th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Pûgrish is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gifted student he started as a Mortician, but he got bored and became a Apothecary. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and money/treasure
