Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. Forcas was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Armorer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She usually wears her yellow robe and has her rapier always slung over her shoulder. She has no hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Stylist father left her crippled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a black small hat and black clothes. He has wavy blue hair. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep white.

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Nirgel is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Nirgel was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His first spouse was a Gardener, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To be a Gardener again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Description: He wears an entirely grey suit with blue socks and a vest with buckled shoes. He is portly but not overly obese. His tied-back hair is golden. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. Everard is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
