Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Melissa embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her copper crest is thinning but still full. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Detective profession.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has achieved small success as a Guard.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. The war was a terrible time for her, and Menny does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She found a children's book about a Gnome Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Right-Handed grew up listening to his father's many stories. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
