History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Tordrid was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it
