History: Born in the east to a Jeweler, Baradad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with dancing. He constantly tries to fill his life with dancing. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered dancing. He now mingles about in high society.
