Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Gnome, and stands approximately 3'1". She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep tan leather and dull white iron scale mail, and her gloved hand is found clutching a shield. She has dyed her greying silver hair a little too much giving a sharp silver color. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: Edge speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Edge was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes
