History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He became a Shoemaker soon after.

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Cloak lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and regain custody of her daughter

History: She was born in a small mountains village. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She tends to her Tanner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
