Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Thar grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Half-Elf, and stands approximately 5'11". He wears suspenders and yellow workpants. His shirt is white, and he wears a heavy yellow leather apron most of the time, and his gloved hand is found clutching a axe. His blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a small hat. His hazel eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Cory's homeland. Cory decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to have a good time and be beloved
