Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears his silver hair down. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. Gardain enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gardain fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: An older man who wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge, he is not a threatening figure. He is bald on top and has large chestnut tufts of hair around his ears. He is baby faced.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Arannis will drive conversation. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Arannis hails from a village terrorized by goblins. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Expand his business; and he wants revenge against goblins

Personality: Soveliss is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Soveliss was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
