History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Rathkran was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Rathkran's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rathkran and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His parents were killed by drow in a raid when he was still a young child. The drow captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
