Gadreel decided she wanted neither the life of her father nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bather for hire.

She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's also a talented Bather, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
