History: Peter lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Bethrynna was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and revenge
