Personality: He hates Gnomes with a passion. As such he is filled with self loathing. Umpen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Umpen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His cinnamon fur is long and unkept. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. While he appears to be a normal Tabaxi, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears suspenders and white workpants. His shirt is black, and he wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time. His silver hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are brown.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Oren took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break
