History: Pearl hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
