History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A 4'10" northern man, he wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. His long auburn hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Halfling culture. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He is a Lamia in disguise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His hair is long and golden with streaks of auburn, and is pulled back with small yellow clips. His beard is auburn, braided, and well cared for. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: This man loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mortician but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the east; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
