History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. A gifted student he started as a Carter, but he got bored and became a Shipwright. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Wymar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Silvo alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Andraste was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Andraste's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
