Description: He wears skinny pants and wears a red and green robe with the hood down. He cuts an attractive figure and his suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. His hair is short and red. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep hazel.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Bertram embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a adventurer and was forced into it by his family

Description: He wears suspenders and black workpants. His shirt is tan, and he wears a heavy black leather apron most of the time. He is portly but not overly obese. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. He's also a talented Armorer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is dressed in an above average manner. His long gray fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 72. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. A true patriot, Tricking would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Tricking was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and revenge

Description: Standing 5'9", this woman wears a simple black robe with tan stripes complete with hood. She keeps her long silver hair kept up in a rat tail. Her eyes, though not visible through her cowl, are gold.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has achieved small success as a Bookbinder.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
