History: Born to a Detective, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Crown-heir job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: Emeny lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Emeny alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away.
