History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Howard and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She got into the Baker business at a young age. Hatae was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Hatae decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
