History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 3'2" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. Her auburn hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. Her amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Verna is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He prefers to carry a trident, but if one is not available he will default to his bow. His brown hair is matted, messy, and big. His eyes are amber and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: Tordek was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Brewer. He struck the Brewer job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A 6'5" southern man, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His hair, while still mostly auburn, has prominent grey streaks. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. Frederick is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Frederick was born the youngest of three triplets. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. After a long history of fighting, Frederick and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and to reunite with his absent father
