History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Elves in Chaedi's homeland. Chaedi decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
