History: The child of a Shepherd, who enjoyed hunting, Ea was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age his mother died while driving off some illithids. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in longsword use. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Alex fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
