Description: This younger middle-aged man is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time, and a wedding ring on his left hand. He wears a colorful flower in his brown hair. He has gleaming, smiling hazel eyes.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Thomas embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.
History: Thomas hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Thomas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands; and he wants revenge against brigands

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with deerstalker hat. He is bald on top and has large auburn tufts of hair around his ears. His amber eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Jocelyn was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Jocelyn decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He is scrawny and has patchy auburn stubble. He wears suspenders and grey workpants. His shirt is red, and he wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. He has a hunchback. He has a small bristly mustache and wavy auburn hair. He has gray eyes and a grey hat with a red feather.
Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Priest for the past few years.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new priest responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.
History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
Motivation: She is greedy; and money/treasure
