Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her bow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a card on it. Her black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Her eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Alain was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
