History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. After coming to the age of reason, Bertram took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Cressel hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Through the years after Cressel was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Cressel's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Crown-heir hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.
