He carries with him a set of shortspears, each one with a amethyst on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has moderate length red fur. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his yellow eyes.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Dwarven companion (his 'brother'). He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: He wears suspenders and brown workpants. His shirt is yellow, and he wears a heavy brown leather apron most of the time. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable.

He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gifted student he started as a Cartwright, but he got bored and became a Crown-heir. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and further expansion of business

Description: A moderately attractive woman, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her beige fur is thinning but still full. Her yellow eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Carter for hire.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.
