History: She comes from a rich southern family. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Carlin was taken on many hunting expeditions.
