History: He was born in the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Halflings in Hupe's homeland. Hupe decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 4'10" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears baggy blue pantaloons and a black scarf. She keeps her long white hair kept up in a rat tail. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady blue eyes.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Dragonborn compassion.

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a beer of some kind. He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and white, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, marred by beers. His hair is short and golden. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his top grey hat.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears tattered old clothes. His black hair is singed and shortened. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He takes great joy in being the best Beggar in town.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Howard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He worked as a nervous Beggar and found it very stressful. He's also a talented Layabout, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and expand his business
