History: He was born in the south. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Kody alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and doesn't want to be a scribe and was forced into it by her family
