Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She was born into a rich family. As a young child she wandered into the woods despite her mother's warnings against it. Afterwards she claimed she had encountered drow who tried to eat her hand. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and doesn't want to be a soapmaker and was forced into it by his family

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ella's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born in the east. She worked as a nervous Jeweler and found it very stressful. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: She has a crush on the local Herbalist; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Description: He wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with blue colored cloaks and clothing, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'5" when asserting himself. His hair is silver and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Korfel will drive conversation. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Korfel is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Korfel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
