Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes giants are coming to abduct people. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Chem alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Chem was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Eleanor was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Eleanor's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Shepherd and was forced into it by her family; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion
