History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Amûg alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Umpen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: Fragrant was born the youngest of three triplets. His first spouse was a Courier, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
