She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Orc doctor. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Vani was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to her family’s name. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She became a Marshal soon after.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and to reunite with her old friends
