History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Koeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.

He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Hamil was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Stableman. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Kriv was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Conrad's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing writing.

History: Born in the south to a Sellsword, Conrad learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Sellsword hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
