History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Avice took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor she uses now. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs.
