Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Merla was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Rogue, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Rogue in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Jade was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A gifted student he started as a Apothecary, but he got bored and became a Layabout. During his travels, Jade and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Jade discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Jade fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Anakis was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. After coming to the age of reason, Anakis took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Heward was born the youngest of three triplets. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Heward was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends; and his religion dominates his actions
