History: He was born in the west. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

She found a children's book about a Dragonborn Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She became a Guard soon after.
