He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Gerald hails from a village terrorized by giants. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and sabotage a competitor

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Sporting a white mohawk this woman's hair draws a lot of attention. She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Dagnal was born with her mother's beautiful face. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Animal Trainer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
