History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Eloise was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ortegar embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing poetry.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ortegar grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A freak accident while working with his Ruler mother left him crippled. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

History: Born in the north to a Stableman, Dalaba learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and expand her business

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Whurbin fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
