When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Soapmaker. He became a Soapmaker soon after.

Description: 5'5" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, blue shirt, and black tie. Her yellow fur has been sun bleached extensively. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. When Shifting reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Personality: Himo wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.
