Personality: Heward wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Heward was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. His hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Elf in existence. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. He is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Heian was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Heian decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: This woman wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized blue coat. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. She has wavy auburn hair. Her hazel eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He bought a greataxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and he has money and likes to spend it
