His father taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Astaro was born on a far northern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Shoemaker. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she seems to be bored by most things

She is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When Avice reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
